The core curriculum includes the four basic disciplines that provide the students essential educational needs: Algebra II, English III, American History, and Chemistry. Each subject consists of 12 PACEs. This is a full years curriculum.

Please Note: The Pace numbers for the Grade 11 American History Course are 109-120. This is an 11th Grade Course even though it has 10th Grade Pace numbers.

Each High School student should add 2 elective courses in Grade 11. Some suggested electives are: Life of Christ, Literature 1 (1/2 credit), Introduction to Missions (1/2 credit. Please see Electives Section for all available courses.

Scope & Sequence:

• Math - This advanced study in algebra includes: parabolas, hyerbolas, permutations, logarithms, and matricesw. Students learn to operate with: radicals, fractions,equations, arithmetic and geometric sequences. The approach is practical, enabling the student to use his abilities. The program effectively equips your student with necessary knowledge to excel in the real world. A full years curriculum consists of 12 PACEs.
  
  
• English - How has Americas history affected its literature? Students find out as they follow the chronological presentation of American literature in this course. Included are Christian writers whose works are not found in most other American literature courses. Students learn how to evaluate an authors philosophy and style. Appropriate writing activities provide challenging experiences in various writing genres. Each unit incorporates a review of grammar. Emphasis and detailed instruction is given in essay writing. Research paper preparation is explained and visualized as a step-by-step process. A full years curriculum consists of 12 PACEs.
  
  
• Social Studies -New 2009 Revised Version.
  An appreciation for biblical influence develops as the student views American history from the Colonial period to the present. Beginning with discovery of the New World, the study includes the War for Independence, the Jackson era, the War Between the States, the two World Wars, Americas foreign relations after WWII, the Cold War, space exploration, Civil Rights, the United Nations, Watergate, and the awakening which continued on from 1970. A full years curriculum consists of 12 PACEs. Please Note: ACE made changes to their Social Studies courses. Although Grade 11 American History has Grade 10 numbers (109-120), it is a Grade 11 Course.
  
  
• Science - All units view the material from a biblical perspective and provide necessary helps. This course covers: organic and inorganic chemistry, biochemistry, molecular bonding, chemical reactions, gas laws, electrochemistry, nuclear chemistry, balancing of chemical equations, periodic table of the elements, properties of metals, nonmetals, and metalloids, chemical equilibrium, thermodynamics, acids and bases, and quantitive and qualitative analysis.
