The CD-ROM version of this course contains everything that is in the textbook course plus multimedia add-ons like word pronunciations, videos (do NOT replace lab experiments), narrations, and animations. Study Guides and Tests (found on the 2nd CD) may be printed out for students to answer on paper. Password-protected answers are available to parents for manual grading. This course uses the Microsoft Internet Explorer web browser, but it does not use the internet. Everything you need is contained on the CDs. The Microsoft Internet Explorer is simply used as the user interface because it is easy to use and familiar to most students.

This is a complete course, not a supplement!

System Requirements:
Windows 95 & 98 (16 MB RAM), ME, NT 4.0 (32 MB RAM, running Service Pack 3 or higher), 2000 Professional (64 MB RAM), XP Home, or XP Professional. It should work on Mac OSX and higher, Virtual PC 5.0 and higher, and Linux running KDE or Gnome. Please see the readme file on the root and exe directory for further information.
We recommend at least a Pentium 100 processor with 16Mb, 111 MB Disk Space to Install and 80 MB to run.
Requires a mouse, video and sound compression installed (part of Windows installation), CD-ROM driver, speakers, and a printer.
Requires Internet Explorer 5.5 SP2 and higher, Adobe Acrobat 5.0 and higher, and Windows Media Player 6.1 and higher which are all contained on the CD if you do not already have them.

The entire course is on CD-ROM. No need to purchase the textbook set or the Companion CD.
