New! DIVE Physics Video Lab follows Saxon Physics 1st edition and the DIVE Physics CDRom lectures. If you cannot afford the time or money for a quality hands-on physics lab, then the DIVE Physics Video Lab is the next best thing! The experiment is performed for you, which eliminates prep time. In addition, several thousand dollars worth of sciecne equipment is used to make these labs, include radar guns, photogate timers, and stroboscopes, so the labs would be a major expense to duplicate on your own. Each Physics Video Lab includes photos, video, graphs and tables from the lab experiment. The student prints out a lab activity sheet, watches the lab and records experimental data, pauses the CD and completes their calculations, and then turns the CD back on to check their work. Most of the 23 labs follow the scientific method (question, hypothesis, methods, results, discussion). All labs are taught from a Christian perspective with an emphasis on helping hte student undertand that the scientific knowledge we have today is because of, not in spite of, Christians who had a passion to know God better through studying His creation. Four quarterly exams, with video solutions, are also provided.
