How to Use Teaching Tape DVD's Be sure to play the introduction on at least the first video. For each lesson, have the student read the lesson. Then, play the video and watch the teacher explain the lesson and work the example problems. When the teacher has completed the example problems the student will be instructed to stop the video and work the practice problems. After the student has finished the practice problems, restart the video and watch the teacher work the practice problems. After the teacher has worked the practice problems, the student should stop the tape and work the problem set. However, if the student did not do well working the practice problems, we suggest he/she replay the example problems before going on to the problem sets. After the student has finished the problem sets check the answers with the solution manual. Teaching Tape DVD's teach all the example problems and all the practice problems. We do not suggest that a student skip any problem, but we leave that decision to the parent.
System Requirements DVD's are designed to operate on a DVD Player using the DVD-R format. Most new DVD players are capable of playing this format. Some older DVD players may not be compatible with this newer format.
